AGREEMENT

At NYCBC, we are serious about our responsibility to protect children, youth and other vulnerable people who we serve. As part of this responsibility, we ask all our volunteers to:

1. Provide us with an updated Police Vulnerable Sector check once they are accepted into a volunteer role. The police check should be renewed every five years.
2. File an Annual Offence Declaration as an interim procedure to complement the police check procedures.
3. Attend a training session on Abuse Prevention.
4. Read, acknowledge and abide by the Abuse Prevention Policy, the Digital Media Policy, as well as the Charter and Covenant.
