Date: Oct 30, 3-5pm (most roles will operate these days)
Be aware: Oct 29 will most likely be prep day. Some Admin roles will start earlier in October
Note: Participants (JK-Gr6), Volunteers (Gr7+); Families encouraged to volunteer as they are able
Roles:
Admin - Communications: Help with creating/designing/putting together event passport; Organize info as needed (will be directed by Communications Lead)
Admin - Shoppers: Buy what's on materials list (FM will provide list and reimburse; must retain receipts)
Admin - Floaters: During the event will check in at the different booths to see if they need any help (e.g. need more candies or tape or craft materials); If no tasks, to greet and welcome families
Welcome Team - Welcome Desk: Be present for the full event; First face to greet families along with Greeters; Table to pick up Passport; Answer general questions (e,g, bathroom locations); In charge of Lost & Found bin; May need to come in Oct 29 to familiarize and understand how Welcome Desk will operate
Welcome Team - Greeters: First face to greet families; Direct foot traffic to Welcome Desk; Answer general questions (e.g. where to park, bathroom locations)
Crafts Booth: Be present for the full event; Lead or help students in creating take-home art pieces; Engage and welcome families; Communicate with Floaters as needed
Games Booths: Be present for the full event; Lead or help (e.g. give prize, crowd control) the specific game booth; Engage and welcome families; Communicate with Floaters as needed; May need to do preparations on Oct 29
Prize Area: Be present for the full event; Verify passport and give out prizes accordingly; Ensure cleanliness of area; Communicate with Floaters as needed
